Testing and Validation of PnET-II3SL for Use in Integrated Analyses of Global Climatic Change

One of the research priorities established by DOE, NIGEC, and the NIGEC Southeast Regional Center, concerns development and

testing of models needed for integrated  analyses, which in turn address questions of relevance to society as a whole. This project

entails an evaluation and independent analysis of the robustness of an existing hydrologic/ forest productivity model (PnET-II3SL).

Model revisions were made as necessary to improve its robustness for prediction of the effects of climate change on water availability

in southeastern United States
